I have been an avid reader my entire life.

As a crafter:

I have been knitting since I was five.

I have been doing needlework since I was six.

I have been crocheting since I was ten.

I have received numerous prizes for my crafts in our local fair over the course of twenty-five years.

I have received expert instruction from several professional crafters.
